Ali’ce J. Haskins, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner originates from Northern New Jersey, moved to North Carolina where she began her 25 year healthcare journey began.
Her overall focal point has been promoting preventive health & wellness, optimal health screenings, education and management of chronic disease. She is diligent in her desire to improving lifestyle changes and patient outcome.
Dedicated to her passion of caring for others and serving as a pillar in the community, her journey into healthcare began as an LPN and the earning her Associates Degree in Nursing. She was also awarded several academic scholarships and placed on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence.
In 2011 She enrolled in illustrious Winston Salem State University graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, where she pledged to “enter to learn, depart to SERVE”.
While employed by the University of North Carolina Hospital and Healthcare Systems. It was there, Nurse Practitioner Haskins focused on the patient experience by becoming Lean Six Sigma on Quality Management “Improving hospital processes” by changing the patient outcome.
Her passion and commitment as a patient advocate led her to also select a Capstone project to “Decrease the incidence of injuries & falls in the patients during hospitalization”.
She later escalated her studies by earning her Master’s degree in Nursing, 2015. She then earned her Post Master’s Degree from South University with a concentration of Family Nurse Practitioner is Board Certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center of Nurse Practitioners in 2017.
Her future studies currently entail, perusing a Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice, by 2023.
She has also served in the United Sates Military- Army Reserves, Fort Dix New Jersey.
She is the proud wife and mom of 2 children Varian and Alexis.
